Get ready to squirm, scream, and shout “NOPE!” at your screen — because Fear Factor is BACK, and it's more terrifying than ever.

Fox just announced the revival of the iconic stunt competition series, now rebranded as Fear Factor: The Next Chapter — and let’s just say, it’s not your early-2000s gross-out fest anymore. This time, it’s a full-on social experiment.

🎬 What’s New in The Next Chapter?

While the original Fear Factor had contestants eating bugs and hanging off helicopters, this new version turns the fear dial way up. Here’s what we know so far:

• Contestants will live together in a remote, high-stress location.

• They'll face mentally exhausting, physically dangerous, and totally unpredictable challenges.

• Alliances will form. Trust will be tested. Fear itself becomes the ultimate weapon.

It’s Fear Factor meets Survivor — but with more bugs, more mind games, and possibly even more screams.

None other than Johnny Knoxville, the king of wild stunts himself! You know him from Jackass, so you know he’s not going to go easy on the players.

And in case you're wondering: No word yet if original host Joe Rogan will drop in for a cameo, but the producers haven’t ruled anything out...

Unlike the old show where contestants just had to survive a few gross challenges, The Next Chapter adds a social strategy layer. Think betrayal, mind games, and maybe even a bit of manipulation. It’s not just about bravery — it’s about outsmarting your fellow players while keeping your cool under pressure.
