Sonic the Hedgehog Is Getting an Official New Game Inside Roblox.  Earlier today a    Sonic the Hedgehog game backed by Sega called Sonic Speed Simulator was announced.    You can purchase the game right now but if you can wait a few days, the game goes Free to Play on Saturday April 16th at 1 pm EST. Sonic Speed Simulator will receive weekly updates and players can run through multiple worlds, including the iconic Emerald Hills. If you choose to race against friends, players can earn rewards such as pets and Sonic character skins. If Sonic Speed Simulator reaches 10,000 "likes" from players in Roblox, then the players in the Roblox community can receive an exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog skin as well.   So like a lot of people on April 1st one of the first stories I saw on YouTube was about E3 2022 the digital event was canceled .    At first I thought it was a April Fools Joke, unfortunately it was not the case. We lucky have a lot of great events to look forward to ( or at least as of this writing nothing else has been canceled ).    Let’s check out some of the upcoming events we have gaming or otherwise. First up we have the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase (formerly known as the Oculus Gaming Showcase) returns for the 2nd year.    They tease new announcements for games and more surprises at the event. Rumors of new hardware (Quest Pro/Quest 3) to be revealed.    Event is talking place on April 20th at 1 pm eastern on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. Rumors of a PlayStation VR 2 event taking place either before April 20 or after the Meta/Oculus Gaming Showcase event taking place, have been teased for awhile.   Nintendo released a video this morning about The Official Launch Timing Update.    With how little we know about the game, are you surprised this happened?   When Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Resistance was teased with the Doctor Strange surprise a few days ago in the story trailer they also hinted at a big change for their game as well. That being their building aspect of their game.    Well they dropped    a Fortnite Official Zero Build Trailer.    Both trailers can be checked out right here.     What do you think about the change to game?   “The slap heard around the world” So the Oscars took place a few days ago and like recent years the ratings are going down, excitement, etc. Later that night Chris Rock makes a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith being in G.I. Jane 2 (a sequel to a movie from over 20 years ago) Will Smith actually laughs at the joke and Jada rolls her eyes. A moment passes then Will Smith walks up the stage and slaps Chris Rock in the face. Now if you were watching the show in America, you got a censored version because of the video delay. Because of this some people thought it was a fake comedy skit but, if you see the uncensored video that might change your mind.    You will hear Will Smith dropping f bombs and everything.   We did not see a lot of people talking about this yet    (although we have seen people asking) but according to Konami, while the release date is anyone’s guess, we do know 2 things: The MRP is currently $39.99 The TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Will be getting a physical release. Of course everything is subject to change but it is mentioned on the Konami page with the original trailer.
